I try to make a conscious effort not to lie nor do wrong to others. I believe in”what goes around, comes around”. So, when a co-worker of mine hits me in my company’s parking lot. I in good faith believe he will not screw me over. This believe continued until my insurance adjuster told me in his statement he said I backed out of my parking spot and hit him causing him to hit another car.
I guess I have to start to have the attitude to look after myself first and foremost.
Sometimes the conscious mind believes that we have never done anything wrong to hurt, damage or insult another one’s being. We sometimes forget that slight giggle at ones appeareance, a small “white lie”, the rejection of the opposite sex, ignoring friendship, the killing of innocence (being that of life or mental state) etc. may rear its ugly head & return a vicious bite that we are not prepared 4. So do you truly beleive in “what goes around, comes around?” Maybe your car incident is truly a test/reconcile from some previous & devious action that you have taken part in. Don’t lie to yourself… We all have skeletons in the closest that we would TRULY love to forget!

Ok… you make a valid point. Karma can be a contributor to future events but what if you don’t have skeletons in your closet? Just because we can assume the majority may have some demons, does that automatically categorize everyone to have them? I beg to differ. Bad things happen to everyone…Karma influenced or not. Even if you are the most respected, well-rounded, and caring indivdual on the planet does not save you from the rest of the morons running around. And if it were a test from some previous mistake, I think the unseen energies would acknowledge your current effort to be a better person. The key is to not fuel negative energy but kill it with kindness. I am sure the Mad Mad Woman handled herself like an adult.
